Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved The Silicone Group Operator is responsible for quality of product and workmanship and participation in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity. The duties encompass all aspects of the Silicone manufacturing process, including transfer molding, mold assembly, finishing, blasting, mixing, blending, freshening, metal processing, fabrication, post baking, part marking, product assembly, painting, testing, and inspection. The Operator must meet the requirements of the learned skill and demonstrate proficiency before an increase in pay is warranted. This position falls within the scope of the FM Drug and Alcohol program and potential employees must pass FAA Drug Screen upon hire and submit to random testing as required. Candidates must be able to work off shift (2nd or 3rd shift) for an extended period of time; likely multiple years.
Mechanical skills required to set-up and operate various production equipment, including mold assembly, Ability to understand the interrelation of all silicone processes, maintaining product consistency and Ability to read blueprints and assemble products to finished product drawings. 3-5 years of experience preferred. This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
