Join our dynamic team as a key player under the broad administrative direction of the Senior Director of Sales and Client Services! In this role, you will oversee existing relationships and drive software sales activities for a specific geographic region. You'll promote the Cencora consultative sales approach, leveraging your technical expertise and customer insights to help boost profitable revenue growth.

  • Sales - 40%
  • Drive new business by prospecting within targeted prospect accounts in the geography, understanding their needs, and delivering the value proposition for IQSS software-related products and services
  • Establish/maintain account and territory plans to exceed sales quota on an annual/quarterly/monthly basis
  • Drive sales opportunities through collaboration and communication with other field-based personnel
  • Engage prospects by identifying their needs, presenting solutions, and building trust
  • Maintain high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers
  • Demonstrate software solutions to prospective clients both on-site and remotely
  • Maintain understanding of current overall trends in the business sector, along with customers' specific business goals, strategy, financials and challenges
  • Lead client negotiations on a variety of financial and delivery-related issues
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Understand and articulate the increasing value of data analytics in the ambulatory space, providing increased productivity and revenue, improved patient outcomes, and risk mitigation
  • Prospecting - 30%
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows
  • Build relationships with 3rd party vendors, such as laboratories and consultants
  • Cultivates new business leads through research, cold calls, referrals, and marketing campaigns
  • Provide input for development of marketing efforts and associated requirements
  • Administration - 10%
  • Maintain and update CRM database for market/competitive intelligence
  • Records sales activities in Salesforce.com CRM or current management program
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive and industry data
  • Communicate in a timely and effective manner to ensure alignment with leadership and other field-based personnel, including implementation and account management
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Accurate sales forecasting by continually managing and updating Sales Funnel

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires five to ten (5-10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Three - Five years of Practice Management/EHR sales experience or related healthcare industry experience required.
