Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital Ortho Pantops Office is now hiring a Full-Time Advanced Care Surgical Coordinator in Charlottesville, VA!

Hours:Monday-Friday, Dayshift 8a-5p. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!

Overview

The Advanced Care Surgery Coordinator coordinates surgical posting and operative care for advanced surgery physician practices (Orthopedics, Advanced GI, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics, Bariatric, Reconstruction and Plastic Surgery, or Neuro-interventional service lines), physician relations, pre-operative chart/pre-admission testing process, post-operative care coordination, patient operative process education, and monitoring the surgery schedule for multiple physicians.

Surgical clinic setting preferred.

Education

  • HS Diploma

Experience

  • 3 years' experience in clinical setting required
  • Insurance authorization experience preferred
