JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Product Team

The Data Product team is responsible for the full lifecycle of transaction banking data assets. This includes:

Defining and prioritizing requirements for building and enhancing data assets.

Developing training materials and documentation to promote effective data utilization.

Driving data democratization through self-service BI tools and training programs.

Managing ad-hoc data requests and ensuring timely delivery of accurate information.

Implementing and enforcing strong data governance processes and procedures.

We are looking for a product manager, to own and execute many of these functions as well as support an overall product team in this area. The individual should have an interest in overall business and financial performance and have strong analytical, data, and platform experience to help own and operate some of the following functions:


  • Work with multiple stakeholders including product and engineering to build products and technology solutions to streamline data assets, and data quality and integrity
  • Engage with the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, research, design, development, testing, experimentation and deployment for our data and business intelligence infrastructure including designing and documenting standard operating procedures
  • Build strong, trusted working relationships with critical business partners (e.g. Products, Sales, Operations, Engineering, etc.) to ensure that the processes are executed in accordance to standards
  • Lead training sessions and workshops on data assets and BI tools for Sales, Product, and Operations teams, fostering data literacy and self-service analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Support the launch of new data products by developing comprehensive business cases, gathering detailed requirements, creating go-to-market strategies, executing testing plans, and monitoring product performance post-launch.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track deal and client performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders for business improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • 3+ years professional experience in data product management, data analysis, or a related role within the financial services, fintech, or consulting industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments industry, including Treasury Services, Liquidity, and FX.
  • Proven analytical skills with a passion for extracting insights from large datasets to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Ability to identify patterns, anticipate opportunities, and develop creative solutions, with a track record of building compelling business cases.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and a commitment to maintaining a robust data governance and controls environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and data visualization analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, Alteryx). Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus.
  • Strategic and tactical thinker, able to prioritize opportunities in ambiguous situations and align work with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to navigate and influence a complex organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Master's degree

Experience with a relevant quantitative field, e.g. statistics, business analysis, general product management, etc
