Overview The Onboarding Technician establishes and updates systems access and creates detailed request tasks for computer and telephone equipment for new and existing employees while providing training and assistance as needed for the end-user to create the highest level of customer service with regards to New Hire, Equipment, Access, and Termination requests. This position also provides on-boarding and off-boarding support and coordination between responsible departments and personnel. - Provide the highest level of customer service to multiple levels of staff and management.
- Receive all new hire, equipment, access, and termination requests from varying levels of staff and management, review requests for completeness, gathering clarification as needed.
- Establish or update user access and create requests for any equipment to fulfill original requests in a timely manner following the MFA ServiceDesk Jira request timing matrix for these tickets.
- Train or provide training documentation to newly hired personnel on new equipment, default network access, new telephone equipment, and voicemail configuration.
- Support basic audio/visual and classroom or meeting preparation for all levels of staff and management.
- Troubleshoot basic email and internet issues for new hires as an escalation for Analysts.
- Provide technical support as a member of the on-call rotation. When on call, be available to be dispatched on-site as required.
- Provide status reports to designated supervisors and/or management for any assigned projects.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical Support education
- One year of experience in in IT support
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
- Analytical skills including the ability to think outside the box and research solutions to problems
- Great customer service skills, including displaying patience with others and a track record of developing good working relationships while persistent in the pursuit of the goals/objectives.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to accept accountability and work in a strong team environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines using a high level of time management skills.
- Ability to lift, reach, stoop and or bend to retrieve products and supplies weighing up to 40 lbs. from shelves or under counters.
- Travel 0-50% of time to remote sites or training as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Within one year of employment in this role, finish 1 ServiceDesk Core training or certification class plus 1 Optional training or certification class.

- Associate's degree in a computer science or technology related field
- Experience communicating effectively on a departmental and cross-departmental basis
- Excellent communicator in both oral and written communication skills
