Overall Purpose

Be part of the team that works closely across multiple business and IT teams to integrate data into critical information that informs planning, measuring and enhances operational performance. This position typically will be for a 8-week period and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee.

Essential Functions

  • Support in the development of Technology related process documentation.
  • Maintain tracking in internal tools.
  • Expands and develops knowledge with exposure to a variety of roles related to area of study.
  • Participates on work teams, contributes to projects and initiatives, and performs various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
  • Performs research and prepares reports on assigned topics and /or projects when required.
  • Works as a member of a team providing service to internal and external customers.
  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship or general knowledge acquired as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to communicate with various levels of employees within the department and proven technical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence analyses and reporting or similar technical experience
  • Some experience developing Tableau dashboards with Tableau Server deployments
  • Ability to work with data, take stakeholder input, and translate into clear descriptive stories
  • Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment.
  • Self-starter with ability to balance multiple deliverables.
  • Background and drug screen.
  • Must be US Citizen or US National only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
