POSITION SUMMARY:

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is hiring an Enterprise Business Applications Manager to lead the operations and strategy of our enterprise systems-anchored by Microsoft Dynamics 365. In this high-impact role, you'll guide a team of technical professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, secure, and high-value application solutions that power our business. You'll serve as both strategist and execution leader-driving enhancements, leading implementations and ensuring our technology stack aligns with core business goals.

JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Direct the daily operations of our enterprise application suite, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform integrations.
  • Manage and mentor team members while fostering a service-focused, high-performance culture.
  • Lead system improvement initiatives across multiple departments in partnership with IT, operations, and vendors.
  • Oversee Dynamics 365 enhancements, cloud integration, mobile application deployments, and system integrity.
  • Develop technical roadmaps, assess ROI for new tools and build business cases for application modernization.
  • Deliver actionable insights and automation through dashboards, reporting tools, and data warehouses.
  • Ensure uptime, security, and compliance of integrated systems across our hybrid IT environment.
  • Act as an internal consultant-translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Plan and test disaster recovery strategies and coordinate business continuity measures.
  • Own vendor relations, licensing, and budget coordination related to enterprise apps.



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise systems in Dynamics 365 (Sales, Field Service, Great Plains). Familiarity or related experience with SAP S/4Hana.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), SQL, and integration tools such as KingswaySoft.
  • Recent experience leading application upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, and security protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Preferred certifications: PL-200, MB-210, MB-240.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exempt, full-time position offers a starting salary range of $135,000 to $140,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. Eligible benefits include a 401K matching program and discretionary yearly contributions, with detailed information provided at the final interview stage. Additional variable compensation may include a discretionary year-end bonus based on overall company performance.

In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3 floating holidays. After one year, you'll have access to a generous short-term disability program, with premiums fully covered by the company. Employees are insured at 100% of their salary for the first 6 weeks and 66 2/3% for weeks 7 to 12.
