General Description
The Studio Lead is responsible for assisting the Studio Manager in the direction and oversight of the Frames Data photography studio, especially in Manager's absence. Also responsible for meeting the imagery needs of the Company's clients, photographing products as well as retouching product images to ensure high quality, including quality control of all images created.
Job Responsibilities

Ensuring smooth flow of operations in Frames Data's custom photography studio -
Scheduling jobs and managing day-to-day logistics -
Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client standards -
Photograph frames creating high quality product images (both table top and automated) according to established style guides -
Make sure all images are exposed correctly with no extreme highlights -
Ensure sample frames are moved along the process in an efficient manner -
First round of quality control for product images & QC other staff imagery -
Retouch product images according to established style guides -
Review and download images returned from external retouchers/photographers -
Troubleshoot internal retouching and photography issues and procedures -
Review and resolve daily Image Asset Entered and Errored Reports -
Retrieve and supply images for Catalogs, Photo shoots , CPP projects and other Quarter-angle images when imagenames/stylenames are supplied or as needed -
Provide Monthly Vision Web images to Product Dept -
Revise and update all Style Guides as needed and review all annually -
Create and review CPP, Quarterly, supplied images, and retailer contracts -
Send daily emails to Key India at the end of the day to indicate how many folders and count how many images we are sending. -
Communicate with Key India regarding missing paths, issues, and special needs. -
Create and review automated scripts -
Make photoshop actions for staff -
Maintain and archive database of CPP client delivery files -
Handle all steps from "receipt email", scheduling, deliveries, runsheets, CAOs, revisions for assigned frame manufacturers -
In Studio Manager's absence, responsible for:

assigning daily work to studio staff -
runsheets/joblog/contracts/studio metrics report -
uploading finalized images to client FTP/Dropbox/WeTransfer -
Approve and review KeyIndia Invoices -
In charge of clients communication, provide delivery dates, call costumer regarding internal questions, and email if there are any issues regarding a particular problem.

Qualifications
-
Degree in Photography preferred -
Proficient in product photography, Adobe CS, Photoshop, Acrobat, ftp client software and Microsoft Excel -
Minimum of 4 years related experience, including some managerial/ administrative / scheduling -
DAM specialist (EnterMedia) -
Excellent organizational and time management skills, responding quickly to changing priorities -
Outstanding product photography retouching skills -
Excellent with follow through and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills -
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -
Must be self-directed, comfortable seeking and taking direction, and function effectively as part of a larger, multi-disciplinary team
