Job Description

At Fairmont Dallas, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. Your leadership as Director,Loss Preventionwill ensure an exceptionalLoss Preventionteam and efficient protocols to support your hotel as a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of theLoss Preventiondepartment
  • Ensure overall guest and Colleague safety through the implementation and review of hotel-wide security measures
  • Act as a liaison within the community and policing forces to maintain awareness of current security issues
  • Complete daily Security reports
  • Liaison with other hotel security and law enforcement agencies and carry out investigations pertaining to all security matters
  • Be knowledgeable in the use of all security equipment, i.e. radios, cameras, electronic lock systems and report any safety, security and/or fire hazards or violations
  • Supervise and train all Security supervisors
  • Perform lock audits as required and assist in maintaining key control
  • Manage the departmental budget
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies

Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Certification in CPR First Aid required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline required
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
