Note: This position is based at our new yard located in Maltby (Snohomish County). Initial training will take place at our South Seattle yard.
Role
Maintains truck technology installations, repair schedules, reporting, vendor relations, and service to ensure maximum performance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Installs and maintains wireless video downloading communication systems, truck routing systems (Routeware, etc.), communications systems (Two way radios), and truck back up camera systems.
- Maintains preventative maintenance monitoring and repair schedule.
- Provides weekly truck technology reporting.
- Manages truck technology vendor relationships.
- Coordinates parts accrual and repair/RMA with all truck technology vendors.
- Acts as the IT Liaison between employees and Corporate IT.
- Assigns, configures, and troubleshoot all phone systems and data devices.
- Documents general best practices for most common installation and repair issues.
- Remains up-to-date on existing and potential future technology advances to match company and staff needs.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3 years of fleet maintenance and project management experience.
- Computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Network system installation and configuration.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
