This position operates the Rectifier control system and records data associated with the operating conditions of each load of product that is processed through the Modine Electrofin E-coat system. The position is also responsible for the visual evaluation of coils on load bars as they enter the E-coat process tank. The position ensures accuracy and proper maintenance of process records for easy retrieval when evaluating historical process control/performance data. Key Responsibilities
Start up and or shut down the Rectifier control system computer system; monitor the operation of the Rectifier control system and report and keep record of any nonconformance; perform system safety checks Monitor and adjust anode setting during the e-coat process to maximize coating efficiencyMonitors CCS system and adjust as needed Monitors R/O storage tank for fullness Update as each load is processed the specific run conditions of that load during the e-coat Completes coupon testing as required if required Enter run data into electronic database Record load bar statistics in database Helps to facilitate paint tank transfer and cleaning during yearly shut down maintenance. Reports any process abnormalities to production supervisor Assist with WWTS monitoring and corrective actions. Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor Required Education & Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required, one to three years related experience and/or training a plus; maintains current certifications appropriate to performing assigned duties.
