US Telecom Support Services Rep I

This position is responsible for assisting in the support and maintenance of telephony systems to provide a stable, dependable, and efficient telephony environment. Act as a first level technical support for end users' software and hardware problems. Receive telephone calls/emails from users experiencing difficulties or inquiring how to use specific telephony systems. Escalate unresolved issues to an appropriate team via Service Now. Log all incidents

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the implementation of the Company's telephony communications system.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of Company standards on all telephony related equipment.
  • Assist in the support and maintenance for all new telephony hardware and software.
  • Receive phone calls and emails from end users who are experiencing telephony technical difficulties.
  • Ticket all communications within our Enterprise Service Desk System.
  • Provide level 1 troubleshooting and route all issues that cannot be resolved to members of the Team.
  • Assist with the deployment of new programs

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of PC hardware
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to adapt to new applications and technology quickly

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $37,087 - $57,948 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
