STS Technical Services is actively hiring a Production Scheduler to join our client's dynamic production control team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Position Summary

As a Production Scheduler, you'll be responsible for organizing and communicating detailed production schedules to optimize workflow across departments. You'll act as a central resource for aligning operations, tracking progress, and ensuring that high-priority jobs meet delivery timelines. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, an eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit.


Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and consolidate data from multiple sources into a master production schedule
  • Improve visibility and communication of scheduling information across teams and departments
  • Monitor work progress on the plant floor and update the master schedule accordingly
  • Coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments to avoid bottlenecks
  • Analyze and manage make-to-stock inventory and its downstream production effects
  • Track status of high-profile jobs to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to align production with material availability and capacity constraints
  • Perform administrative tasks related to scheduling and production control as required
  • Report directly to the Operations Manager as part of the Production Control team
  • Deliver actionable insights to production supervisors by synthesizing complex information streams

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination
  • Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems, Excel tools (tables, filters, sorting), and project management platforms
  • Smartsheet or Epicor experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, team-oriented demeanor
