What you'll do:

As a Project Manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) you'll play a vital role in aiding the successful execution of critical enterprise projects to realize enterprise goals and objectives. You'll work closely with business sponsors, business leads, and IT project managers to develop detailed project plans and related documents. You'll be responsible for planning and monitoring the progress of projects throughout their life cycles, working with key stakeholders to help determine and document project scope, create work schedules, monitoring and updating project budget, and evaluate resource capacity. You'll aid the project team to coordinate tasks and track the completion of scheduled tasks and activities to prevent delays. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of enterprise projects and will build a strong working knowledge of commercial banking to support and execute project management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project team members to build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and tasks. Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed on time. Review and monitor project timelines and recommend adjustments as needed to ensure the project stays on schedule.
  • Maintain and preserve project documentation, including project plans, project artifact documents, status reports and project budgets. Generate regular project status reports for distribution to project sponsors and project team members. Document meeting notes, summarize and distribute to project team.
  • Maintain knowledge of resource allocations. Track and monitor allocations to ensure the right team members are assigned to tasks. Report resource availability, over-allocation and trends related to resource assignments to leadership.
  • Monitor, document, and track the status of issues and risk mitigation activities against their target completion dates.
  • Work with the business lead and IT resources to confirm invoice payment requests reflect proper billing amounts for the scope of work that has been completed.

What you'll need:

  • 4+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate financial industry experience preferred, particularly in Deposits, Product Management, Treasury Management, Payments, and/or Operations.
  • Continuous Improvement experience highly desired (Lean, Lean Six Sigma, A3)
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate experience in building project schedules and collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Intermediate organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Intermediate ability to be flexible with adapting requested changes to project scope and schedule.
  • Intermediate experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate skills in project management software and tools (Workfront).
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management and IT software development methodologies (Waterfall/SDLC) preferred.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Project Management Professional preferred.
