SUMMARY:
The Shop Technician is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for assembling and fabricating parts and operating machinery. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge/Skills/Education)
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
