DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Procurement Specialist, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and provide administrative and analytical support for contracting activities of the assigned program areas. This includes, but is not limited to: procurements, interagency agreements, grant applications and contracts, purchase order request forms (PORFs), general invoices (GIs), Pcard requests, and more. This position is also responsible for other projects as deemed necessary by the CFO. Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $80,000.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Procurement Specialist or Commodity Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional SRM experience performing contract management work and processing complex procurements including Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotes(RFQs); AND
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have experience with Jaggaer.
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania and maintain residency for the entirety of your employment with the agency.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
