This Position reports to:

Regional Manager, SouthEast

B&R is seeking a highly-motivated Lead Sales Engineer for our East Region Team, to be based in the Atlanta area. This role is responsible for driving sales in our automation products and services, assists customers in resolving issues, grows relationships and accounts, and suggests technological improvements. The role often collaborates with engineers and sales support to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful sales outcomes.

The work model for this role is: #LI-Hybrid based out of our Alpharetta, GA office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth of B&R's full product portfolio through new and existing opportunities.
  • Lead account strategy and develop deep customer insights to influence decision-making.
  • Align customer needs with technical solutions and B&R's value propositions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including upper management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful product presentations and demos.
  • Own territory forecasting, business planning, and account development strategies.
  • Utilize CRM tools for market intelligence, pipeline tracking, and customer engagement.
  • Represent B&R at industry events and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years' relevant experience consisting of sales/business development and proven technical knowledge of robotics, programmable controls, PLC's and automation systems
  • Ability to travel up to 50% mostly in the region with occasional other domestic and international travel; valid driver's license and passport required with no barriers to travel.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and solutions; Interested in the application of leading-edge technology across industries.
  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience with machine, motion control and programming experience highly preferred.
  • Possess work authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
