At TEKsystems we are working with a local company seeking a Requirements Manager responsible for overseeing the entire requirements management process within the organization. This role involves gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing requirements to ensure that project goals are met and stakeholders' needs are effectively communicated and understood. The Requirements Manager ensures that requirements are well-documented, tracked, and aligned with business objectives, and supports project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Must have architected the Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
*Responsibilities:* * Lead the collection of business, functional, technical, and user requirements by engaging with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and technical teams. * Create clear, concise, and actionable requirements documentation (e.g., business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories) that can be easily understood by technical teams and business stakeholders. Experience in using Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) is essential. * Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication of requirements and expectations. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to clarify and prioritize requirements. * Analyze and validate requirements to ensure they align with business goals and objectives. Ensure completeness, feasibility, and consistency across all requirements. * Establish and maintain traceability matrices to track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that all requirements are met and that any changes are properly managed and communicated. * Facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) to manage changes to requirements during the project lifecycle, ensuring that scope changes are well-documented, communicated, and approved by relevant stakeholders. * Work closely with the QA team to ensure that test cases and test plans are aligned with the defined requirements, and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). * Identify potential risks related to requirements, scope, or changes and work with the team to mitigate them. Escalate issues as needed. * Review and refine the requirements management process to improve efficiency, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. *Qualifications:* * Must have proven experience in requirements management and RTM architecture. * Proficiency in JIRA and strong analytical skills. * Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. * Relevant certifications in requirements management or project management are a plus. * Must be located in Hawai'i *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
