Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care by competent co-workers. They optimize resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates effectively with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to enhance processes across the continuum. They ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care and are actively involved in patient flow and bed management in collaboration with the Staffing Office.

We are a high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics, Mother-Baby, Well Newborn Care, and Post Women's Surgical care.

Our unit includes:

• 40 Mother-Baby rooms
• 15 Labor and Delivery rooms
• 14 High-Risk Antepartum rooms
• 8-bed OB Emergency Department unit
• 4 Labor and Birthing Suites
• 4 Pre/Post rooms
• 3 Operating Room suites (where we circulate all our own cases)

We also have full-time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatient clients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivery hospital in Oklahoma City and the second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women's Center.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of Labor and Delivry hospital nursing experience.
• Education: BSN or have a BSN within three (3) years of job acceptance.
• Licensure: Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
• Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
• Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
