The On-Premise Sales Manager will directly lead, manage, and collaborate with a team of Area Sales Managers, Service Managers, and Sales Development Manager, along with their respective teams. This role is ultimately responsible for fostering profitable growth, outperforming competitors in market share, and delivering efficient service in support of organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self-management practices in support of Ben E. Keith culture.
  • Utilize all available sales data to identify opportunities, develop goals and objectives, and increase sales and distribution.
  • Manage department expenses - payroll-related expenses/headcount, sales/advertising expenses, CPC, department travel & meals/entertainment expenses, etc.
  • Develop and implement monthly sales priority plans to drive company goals.
  • Act as a mentor by coaching the team and communicating best practices.
  • Work with and utilize available resources and people to improve sales initiatives.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
  • Five plus years of Department Head and/or Area Sales Manager level experience required.
  • Demonstrates a calm, logical mindset and maintains composure in challenging situations.
  • Excellent and effective performance in previous BEK career path positions.
  • Proactive, forward-thinking, and creative.
  • Excellent communication skills with team, other departments, suppliers, and customers.
  • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • A full knowledge of the Ben E. Keith portfolio.
  • Experience with forecasting product for sales incentives, promos, special events, etc.
  • Training in draught systems and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Dayforce, Workforce Management, Chrome River, iDig, One Drive, Viva Engage required.
  • Experienced with ABMarketing, and all AB technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Motivational and energetic.
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and promoters.
  • Strong understating of National and State beverage industry, as well as the local beverage business landscape.
  • General knowledge of TABC marketing practices.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
