About the Role

The Master Planner is responsible for the planning organization and to develop and continuously optimize the master production schedule to meet customer backlog and sales forecast, plan workflow for each department, monitor resources, material and capacity availability. Influences the optimization of the master production schedule with clear ties to order management leadership to ensure seamless customer delivery.

You must sit out of one of our Manufacturing Center of Excellence/Advanced Development Center that is the United States or Mexico.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Demand Management: Oversee account demand (0-30 days), handle day-to-day escalations and unexpected demand changes, and provide real-time updates to customers.
  • Forecast Input: Lead the integration of forecasts into the SIOP process, piloting this initiative with Karina in AMAT.
  • Capacity & Material Alignment: Ensure demand and forecasts align with global machine capacity and material availability to maintain 90% on-time delivery (OTDN & OTDP).
  • Inventory & Compliance: Manage inventory stocking agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, particularly for LAM accounts.
  • Recovery Planning: Collaborate with sites to develop and execute recovery plans for missed commitments.
  • Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to align planning efforts and optimize resources.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in demand planning, forecasting, and delivery performance.
  • Strategic Improvement: Implement proactive strategies to exceed customer delivery expectations for high-volume manufacturing and new products.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights to drive better decision-making and efficiency.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Technical certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing projects effectively
  • Training or experience in leadership roles
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a plus
