Quality Engineer - Manufacturing (Die Cast & Machining Focus) Full-time \| On-site Are you a quality-driven engineer who thrives on solving problems and making processes better? Join our team as a Quality Engineer and take the lead in driving improvements in die cast and machining operations to deliver top-notch products to our customers. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our quality systems meet the highest standards while partnering with teams across engineering, tooling, and production. What You'll Do Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone tools Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection documentation Manage PPAP submissions - including dimensional layouts, capability studies, and material certs Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions Conduct internal and layered audits to ensure quality compliance Interface directly with customers on quality issues, containment, and resolution Collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality standards into daily operations Analyze ERP and quality data to identify trends and drive improvements Support ISO/IATF 16949 system maintenance and audits Train production staff on quality tools and techniques Support for New Program Launches Participate in APQP activities for new programs and design changes Review design/manufacturing updates for quality impacts Support first article inspections and sample submissions What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering (die cast, machining, or automotive preferred) Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and GD&T Experience with ISO/IATF 16949 quality systems Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/data reporting tools Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Clear and confident communicator (written and verbal) Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Team player who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments Customer-focused and quality-minded Why Join Us?
