The Manager, Process Improvement - Procure to Pay, is an important position that supports the delivery of organizational process excellence. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Process Design & Improvement, P2P within the P2P Continuous Process Improvement team and serves as a partner by engaging with business stakeholders within the company to anticipate business needs and drive strong decision making through implementation of process improvements/best practices, continuous improvement, metrics, and end-to-end process governance.

This position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of centralized Cox Automotive Enterprise Finance & Accounting (EF&A) Enterprise Accounts Payable (EAP) process excellence. The Enterprise Accounts Payable scope includes Supplier Invoice Processing, Payment Processing, Issue Resolution, Customer Care, Travel & Expense Management, Corporate Card Management and Reporting. This position will focus on process centralization, standardization, and optimization for Cox Enterprise accounts payable functions across policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls. This position will lead key strategic initiatives and will build a culture of continuous process improvement within the EF&A Procure to Pay functions. This position will also help to meet Cox Automotive's strategic goals by developing plans, driving objectives, collaborating with business stakeholders, and aligning appropriate resources.

The ideal candidate will have continuous process improvement, change management, project management, governance, and communication experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day activities of the P2P process excellence function, including the activities of a team of process improvement analysts.
  • Responsible for identifying best practices, efficiencies and strategic methods to optimize people, process, and technology solutions across the EF&A P2P functions.
  • Help to drive benchmarking studies and competitive intelligence assessments across EF&A P2P, including ongoing target-setting.
  • Analyze and support a metrics and performance management strategy and culture, driving measurable business results.
  • Help to embed an approach to ongoing continuous process improvement, including an end-to-end process assessment strategy, as well as tactical resource and implementation planning and delivery approach.
  • Review and provide feedback for all process standards: data, reporting, systems security, compliance, financial controls, change management and process excellence.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives for end-to-end process solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and adjudicate technology enhancements, partnering with Technology to build and support the deployment of ongoing roadmap of solutions.
  • Manage collaboration between EAP and Posting & Procurement (P&P) initiatives.
  • Perform special projects as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting or similar with 6+ years of related experience, MS degree and 4+ years of experience, or 10 years in lieu of a degree. Requires 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.
  • Advanced Degree and/or CPA a plus.
  • 6+ years of accounting or finance experience required.
  • Proven ability to influence the highest levels of management.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and project management - Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP a plus.
  • Experience supporting organizational change including large transformations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to think strategically.
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Demonstrated financial analysis strength.
  • Experience within a CoE environment a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels in the organization.


USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
