Job Description

As a Data Management Lead your role will be to manage the relationship and flow of business data between the Digital Tools team (DT) and the assigned business partners. Critical aspects of the role include; business relationship management, project collaboration and planning, request intake management, and support. The Data Management Lead will ensure all data objects required to support the internal and external, sales and engineering tools, are well managed and maintain a high degree of quality.

You will have a hybrid working schedule and will work from one our offices in Milwaukee, Mequon, Mayfield Heights (US) or Cambridge, Ontario (Canada) and will report to Global Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the Data Management strategy of Simplicity, Sustainability and Quality.

  • Accountable for managing business partner relationships.

  • Prepare and provide regular updates to business stakeholders and DT leadership.

  • Manage request intake including scope refinement and task assignments.

  • Participation in BU and IT project planning events required to coordinate data deliverables.

  • Data quality analysis and execute actions to remediate.

  • Manage inventory of business data and business tools.

  • Engage in project and support requests, monitoring the state of business deliverables and communicating required project plan adjustments accordingly.

  • Identify barriers to success and take actions to overcome.

  • Build customer satisfaction through coaching and giving feedback to team members.

  • Support customers through education of DT processes and tools.

  • Promote collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Ensure process compliance.

The Essentials- you will have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred- you might also have:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Understanding of all forms of business types: Make-to-Stock, Configured-to-Order and Engineered-to-Order business and related automation.

  • Communicates effectively (written, oral, presentations) at all levels within the organization.

  • Able to multi-task and delegate tasks with appropriate instruction

  • Able to influence individuals not under direct control.

  • Collaborate and works in teams effectively.

  • Exhibit organizational and leadership skills.

  • Experience with data management and/or data analysis tools/software

  • Rockwell Automation Product familiarity

  • Able to travel for business purposes.
