Job Summary:
The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and support of the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and smooth operations, while also providing training and support to HR staff and users.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Performs employee data management functions; to include data entry, system updates and maintains data integrity of the HRIS.
- Processes personnel actions (hires, terminations, transactions) in Workday.
- Audits HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assists with system configurations, and troubleshoots system issues and ensures escalation or resolution
- Provides support to the HRIS Team with reporting requests as needed.
- Responsible for updating the HRIS SharePoint Site and HRIS knowledge base as needed.
- Assists the HRIS team with the creation and maintenance of process documentation, job aids and HR Workday system training for users.
- Collaborates with users and HRIS team to update HR Workday and Workday Learning training guides and communications.
- Maintains up to date general knowledge of Learning technology and performs tasks including course creation offering scheduling, recording attendance, generating basic reports and Associate's learning transcripts as needed.
- Monitors and responds to Mandatory Education related questions and requests.
- Serves as a resource to the learning management system administrator for course requests, reporting, and end-user questions/support.
- Performs audits in the Learning Management System for course completion status and attendance, as needed.
- Assists with the training and system support for MWHC Associates.
- Assists with special HR- related projects.
- Collaborates with HR teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders, escalate concerns and trends as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with HR Systems or other Enterprise systems.
- Possesses strong technical skills.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience manipulating data.
- General understanding of HR processes.
- General understanding of database construction.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Experience with Workday HCM systems or related system knowledge.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems, SharePoint, and other learning technology.
