This position requires an active Secret clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and aligning project outcomes with business objectives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Contract Project Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Contract Project Manager Responsibilities Include:



  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, and monitor progress.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure contract compliance and manage changes through formal processes.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, reviews, and approvals at key project milestones.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Contract Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in a contracting or government environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing federal contracts or working in a government contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, contract deliverables, and performance tracking.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
