**As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Special Access Program Security Support role will perform a wide variety of complex, senior level security management and administrative duties in support of the ACC AMIC Security Program and the AMIC Special Access, Advance Program Office (APO). The candidate will also provide United States Government (USG) management and security administrative services, which includes, as a senior security officer, interfacing with USG senior security program officials at DIA, SAF/AAZ and various ACC Headquarters units in the performance of duties.

Special Access Program Security Support Responsibilities Include:

  • Administration support to assist USG security program actions, security education, training, classified document control, self-inspection, Information System support and entry control.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute security objectives for personnel and physical security issues/actions including, but not limited to, all administrative processing of unit personnel and access to Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and JADE; facility security accreditation packages as applicable to SCI and SAP maintenance; security-related assessments and evaluations; and security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions.
  • Perform the full range of security duties and assignments in support of ACC AMIC Collateral, SCI, and SAP/SAR security programs.
  • Maintain TS/SCI clearance and immediate SAP read-in to all AMIC APO special access programs.
  • Assist in the operation of the AMIC Special Access Security Office (SCI) and administer the AMIC Advanced Program Office (SAP) to include providing SCI and SAP security guidance for local/tenant SCI Facilities (SCIFs) and SAP Facilities (SAPF).
  • Act as security lead by program appointment and liaison with higher headquarter security officials and customers to ensure all security missions are accomplished. Interface with senior level official to include DIA, SAF/AAZ, ACC A5/A8/9, ACC A23, ACC IP, ACC IAP (Foreign Disclosure), ACC AMIC/DS, DD, PK, PM, DRJ, and 633 ABW IP in the administration of the AMIC Information Protections Office and Special Access, Advance Program Office. Administer the AMIC SAP/SAR program with knowledge and proficiency in the following security disciplines: INFOSEC, PERSEC, INDUSEC, PHYSEC, TEMPEST Program, Foreign Disclosure Program, Special Access Self-Inspections Programs, Top-Secret Control Account Program, COMSEC support, and JWICS & Victor IT Systems Program in support of SCI and SAP/SAR Programs.
  • Knowledgeable in the application of security directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to independently discharge AMIC Special Security Representative (SSR) and Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) duties and responsibilities. Interface with SAF/AAZ, ACC A5/A8/9, ACC A23, ACC IP, ACC IAP (Foreign Disclosure), ACC AMIC/DS, DD, PK, PM, DRJ, and 633 ABW IP
  • Ensure appropriate facility accreditation, self-inspections, TEMPEST program, Information Systems program, and Top-Secret Control Account documentation is available for each facility and that it is aligned under the proper security cognizant authority.
  • Manage DISS and JADE to ensure it reflects proper personnel accountability and access levels. Assist with the establishment of Personnel Security Incident Files.
  • Share the 24/7, after-hours alarm custodian response and extended security guard requirements during nonduty hours for all assigned AMIC facilities within the support of the AMIC Advance Program Office.
  • Prepare and revise, as needed, all PHYSEC and Advance Program Office accreditation paperwork, to include the Fixed Facility Checklists, TEMPEST addendums, SAP accreditation, Information Systems ATOs, construction security plans and applicable documentation for the special access Self-inspection programs. Interface with DIA, SAF/AAZ, ACC A5/A8/9, ACC A23,
  • Perform all aspects of the Personnel Security Program to include nomination interviews, PSQ interviews, validation of SCI and SAP access requirements, submission of investigative requests, and drafting/routing e-PARs.
  • Perform all aspects of the Industrial Security Program to include drafting/routing DD Form 254s, SCI security indoctrinations, visit request, foreign travel reporting actions, and security incidents. Interface with ACC IP, ACC A23, ACC IAP, 633 ABW IP, AMIC PK & PM personnel
  • Provide physical security support and ensure that all current and future AMIC SCIFs and or Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) comply with the physical security standards outlined in ICD 705 and other applicable directives and established policies.
  • Assist in AMIC's building operational security response and the administration of the Antiterrorism Countermeasure programs IAW Department of Homeland Security, General Services Administration (GSA) directives, Interagency Security Committee (ISC) guidance, and Federal Protection Services (FPS) guidance. Help administer the building access program (badge issue), mail room operations, and security plans and programs administrations.
  • Assist inquiry officials investigate collateral security violations, making recommendations to the security lead and AMIC Director on site and preparing and/or reviewing required reports.
  • COMSEC. Obtain, remove, replace, operate, store, transport, support, and manage all COMSEC items and key materials required to operate and sustain operations IAW AFMAN17-1302-O, Communications Security (COMSEC) Operations.
  • Perform COMSEC user duties IAW AFMAN 17-1302-O and the supporting base COMSEC account manager, requirements.

Special Access Program Security Support Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering security and travel support programs.
  • Strong knowledge of travel planning tools and security best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant travel management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with Government travel regulations or experience in a Federal contracting environment is a plus.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
