Genesis10 is seeking an experienced and driven Production Support Manager with a strong background in Application Servers, Web Servers, and Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting vendor-developed applications deployed across large enterprise environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a leadership role overseeing a team of five.
Our target pay rate during the contract portion of the assignment ranges between $55.00 - $75.00 per hour plus full benefits. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and technical support and administration for enterprise-level applications, particularly those developed by third-party vendors.
Ensure high availability and performance of applications running on Application Servers, Web Servers, and Windows Server platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, server, and integration issues quickly and efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications in production.
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the ability to independently drive tasks to completion.
Once converted to a permanent role, manage and mentor a team of five technical professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations and task management.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Application Servers, Web Servers, and Windows Server environments.
Experience supporting vendor-developed enterprise applications in a production environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with urgency and focus.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Familiarity with mortgage applications and related workflows.
Prior experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and patches.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Lead the response to production incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to diagnose and fix issues.
- Develop and implement incident management procedures and protocols.
- Analyze recurring issues and identify root causes.
- Develop and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and resolutions.
- Supervise and mentor the production support team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Communicate system status, incidents, and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful support outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Implement best practices for production support and system maintenance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
