The VP, Information Technology is responsible for providing strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight of WellSky's enterprise applications within the information technology function. The scope of this job includes leveraging deep technical expertise and exceptional management skills to drive the successful execution of enterprise-wide projects and initiatives, as well as shaping the functional strategy to align organizational goals with WellSky's commitment to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executive leaders to align IT initiatives with business strategy by driving organizational efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation.
  • Provide strategic support for financial, operational, and governance programs and ensure they meet the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT professionals by promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment and ensuring the organization's human capital needs are met and optimized for future growth.
  • Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight of enterprise-wide applications and oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of enterprise application technology projects.
  • Champion and implement process improvement methodologies, lead the optimization workflows and data management best practices, and drive continuous improvement to ensure seamless integrations and functionalities across all platforms.
  • Build and cultivate effective relationships with other organizations and key leaders by serving as the primary communication point between IT and peer organizations.
  • Lead and support day-to-day responsibilities for vendor/partner management while maintaining strong and productive relationships.
  • Have a solid understanding of emerging CyberSecurity threats and be able to make proactive decisions in collaboration with WellSky's CISSO.
  • Be able to understand and manage in depth budgets with strong financial acumen.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 10-12 years of related work experience
  • At least 5-6 years of Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
