As a Project Manager, North America Capacity - Purchasing you will be accountable to lead purchasing activities and represent Purchasing in assigned initiatives related to sourcing of direct and indirect material and services. You will also be the interface with the Purchasing line organization (buyers and quality engineers) and work closely together to secure purchasing interest. You will be a key player in the project's team, and you will act and deliver in a large network requesting strong cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders around the different business areas.

Responsibilities will include:

* Membership in the GTP North America NAC team, and actively contribute to the development of the cross functional community

* Drive project activities and give input to overall plan

* Serve as a key Interface to your stakeholder areas

* Take an active part in the project, contribute to the fulfillment of the total project goals, and be the voice GTP in multiple project fora

* Oversee the localization plans and ensure compliance to USMCA requirements, while optimizing cost, transportation and resiliency

* Inform the Purchasing line organization about project demands, targets, time schedules, and other relevant project information

* Prepare and present project statuses and management project reviews in purchasing reference groups as well as other forums

* Ensure Purchasing resources are secured

* Contribute and secure that the purchasing time plan fits within the overall time plan

* Lead Projects risk management from Purchasing standpoint, including risk response and risk mitigation plans, as well as documentation and communication

* Escalate issues/inputs needed to deliver on agreed targets utilizing proper escalation process

What We Also Pay Attention To

* 3+ years of Project Management experience

* Heavy trucking, automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or aerospace industry experience required

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent working experience

* Experience in digitalization and report creation

* Proficiency in Spanish language is a plus
