Hours and Pay:



  • Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 per year
  • Schedule: 1st Shift
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement across all departments and job sites.
  • Deliver employee training on safety regulations, equipment usage, and hazard prevention.
  • Conduct required OSHA training sessions and ensure company-wide compliance.
  • Investigate recordable and near-miss incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage workers' compensation, general liability, and auto claims with precision and confidentiality.
  • Compile, analyze, and report safety data and trends to senior leadership.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and job sites to identify and address hazards.
  • Oversee safety protocols for overhead, underground, and civil projects.
  • Participate in client pre-bid meetings and develop Health and Safety Plans (HASP).
  • Manage the CDL Driver Qualification Program and facilitate training initiatives.
  • Act as the system administrator for ISNetworld, MSDS/HAZCOM, and incident tracking systems.
  • Administer the company's Drug & Alcohol Testing Program to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:



  • 7-10 years of experience in safety management, environmental health, or OSHA compliance.
  • Industry experience in utility, fiber optics, or telecommunications is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Deep knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and return-to-duty programs.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis and accident investigation.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound safety decisions and provide guidance across organizational levels.
