The Functional Analyst Senior role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and designing technology-based business solutions to help solve key business problems through functionally implementing and enhancing enterprise-wide software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and other enabling technologies. They work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, data models, Compliance requirements, and other system artifacts. This role will identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements and is responsible for documenting and reviewing functional specifications that define system requirements and articulate how systems will meet business goals. Additionally, they are responsible for providing support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) for the advancement of business capabilities and issue resolution. The incumbent will provide configuration, set up, and updates to the applications, ensuring that systems are designed in line with global standards, business goals, and approved localizations. The role will document and provide suggestions to management concerning enhancements, new features, and optimal designs in applications configuration, governance, usability, business processes, maintenance, and application standards to optimize business processes and mitigate potential risk with the ability to analyze various metrics to monitor performance and provide insights to management. They will provide support for training users on the applications and increase user adoption and experience. They will facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to provide support for the enterprise-wide applications. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that system documentation, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials, are accurate and up to date.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:



  • Develop, Maintain, and Deploy

    • Applies in depth knowledge in product analysis to lead execution of key initiatives as well as strategic objectives for Sherwin Williams.
    • Develop and identify design considerations and business impacts needed for configuration.
    • Perform Advanced SaaS configurations in relation to but not limited to software settings, workflows, form creation, automation, policy compliance.
    • Implement supporting solutions to advance automation and usability such as RPA, Microsoft automations, and use of a Digital Adoption Platform increasing user adoption and experience.
    • Perform and execute job duties with limited supervision in difficult situations.
    • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of how actions, escalations, and decisions will impact other areas with respect to business process analysis.

  • Collaboration

    • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams within the organization, to ensure the integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide systems.
    • Work collaboratively with product managers, product owners, integration, data, and technical engineers, scrum masters, and other agile team members to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, user experience, feature development, and support.
    • Facilitate collaboration with client stakeholders and external vendors to provide support and advancement of enterprise-wide applications.

  • Monitoring and Documentation

    • Provide suggestions for changes in applications design, configuration, new features and functionality, maintenance, and system standards.
    • Analyze and document business processes, workflows, data models, and other artifacts to assist in capturing the current and future states of business processes as it relates to software solutions.
    • Research, propose, and implement approaches to govern standards and processes for configurations.
    • Frequently takes initiative to propose recommendations on how to execute tasks
    • Conduct research on third-party solutions or technologies and gather insights related to their features, benefits, and drawbacks, and present findings to senior team members.
    • Ensure solutions are audit and legal compliant.

  • Training and Knowledge Sharing

    • Indirectly Supervise work of team members; provide guidance and coaching to team members with Beginner and Intermediate proficiency levels
    • Facilitate training users on the applications.

  • Applies expertise in business process analysis to perform and execute job duties independently in considerably difficult situations.


Position Requirements:

Formal Education:

Required



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science or Information Technology, or in lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of enterprise-wide software support)


Preferred



  • Certifications in SaaS solutions, Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle


Skills and Expereince:

Required:

Knowledge & Experience



  • 4-6 years of advanced experience in enterprise-wide software support with advanced knowledge of software management methodologies
  • In-depth Knowledge of enterprise-wide applications and software platforms
  • Advanced Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide systems
  • Advanced Experience in configuring and setting up various enterprise-wide applications.
  • Deep understanding of applying compliant designs and principles to technology-based business solutions.
  • In-depth Experience with training multinational users at an enterprise level
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.


Preferred:



  • Experience working in an Agile Team environment.
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with Automation or Digital Adoption Platforms
  • Experience with Planview and/or Jira or other agile toolsets
