Software Engineering Intern

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for learning and training to develop software application for VHB under supervision. You will:

Learn to create and code appropriate solutions from broadly described challenges.
• Learn to debug software applications to fix errors and improve performance.
• Learn to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities.
• Learn to perform maintenance activities for products already in production in addition to new product software design.
• Conduct research on new technologies and techniques to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve the quality of code written by other team members.

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to independently manager multiple tasks
• Self-motivated with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
