Overview

Develop, finalize, review, and comment on work products/submittals such as plan sets, technical memos, comment logs, site review checklists, and engineering reports specifically for Renewable Energy Systems such as Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage.


Responsibilities

Shall perform with a minimum of supervision, a variety of design-related duties including, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Review, implement, and update as required technical exhibits for contract documents.
  2. Review, prepare, submit, and comment on RFIs and Submittals throughout all stages of work.
  3. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and PVSYST to support work products.
  4. Provide clients with consultation and project review.
  5. Continually pursue knowledge and experiences that are applicable to the Renewables Delivery Team. Document and communicate new knowledge for the betterment of the entire Renewables Delivery Team.
  6. Promote professional and technical development of staff to support company goals.
  7. Contribute to an amicable working environment with other associates and employees.


Qualifications

  1. Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
  2. Ability to travel on occasion and work in outdoor environments typical of renewable projects.
  3. Ability to comply with typical construction site safety programs.
  4. Ability to manage and mentor junior technical staff.
  5. Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSYST, Procore, MS Office Suite of products.
  6. Knowledge and experience in playing a diplomatic role between employees, customers, vendors, and various other key relationships.
  7. Self-motivated and committed to excellence.
  8. Demonstrated qualities of integrity, credibility, and fiduciary responsibility.
  9. Keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills, which supports our strategic company positioning versus simple field or managerial skills.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
