Summary: The Clinical Resource Manager plays a key role within the Supply Chain Department, supporting organizational goals through collaboration, performance improvement, and value-driven decision-making. This role leads efforts to optimize clinical products, equipment, and service utilization across the system, ensuring alignment with clinical needs, financial stewardship, and patient care excellence. The Clinical Resource Manager also provides direct supervision to the Supply Chain Analyst(s), guiding analytical support and project execution in support of supply chain strategies. Responsibilities: 1. Develops relationships and collaborates with leadership, staff, physicians, and supply chain to identify, develop, and implement continuous quality improvement and cost containment processes for supplies, technology, and labor practices, and to improve customer satisfaction. 2. Leads and coordinates all product conversions to new contracted items, including forming project teams, clinical engagement, education, and serving as the subject matter expert for new products. 3. Proactively identifies and implements local product savings opportunities to drive supply chain efficiencies. 4. Manages contracted product and service issues, including escalation of problems, and supports product backorder and recall management. 5. Participates in, develops content for, and facilitates value analysis meetings to review new technology, evaluate clinical evidence, review financial considerations including contract compliance and reimbursement, and identify standardization and waste reduction opportunities. 6. Works with leaders to conduct new product evaluations, training, and critical supply and service introductions with staff and physicians. 7. Develops strategies to meet with leaders and clinicians to review performance and value metrics, identify opportunities, and implement solutions. 8. Trains, educates, and mentors new team members to support value analysis and clinical resource activities. 9. Serves as a clinical resource for supply chain peers and partners by providing subject matter expertise on products, services, and supply chain processes. 10. Identifies facility supply expense variances, participates in monthly core metrics reporting and expense planning, and develops and implements strategies to reduce expenses and support financial stewardship. 11. Other duties as assigned. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Proficiency in ERP systems, data analytics, and Lean principles required. 2. Advanced Excel skills including complex data manipulation and analysis. 3. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred. 4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other Allied Health Profession required. Master's Degree highly preferred. 2. Professional certifications or credentials such as LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), or Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP) are preferred. 3. Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in value analysis, clinical resource management, or hospital leadership required. 4. Two (2) years' experience in a leadership experience required.
