Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first, while adapting to the unique needs of the healthcare setting.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Tue 07:00 AM - 06:30 PM
Wed 07:00 AM - 06:30 PM
Thur 07:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions or information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License (SP Lic) as required by state regulations.
  • Must be designated as an Armed Security Professional.
  • Must have a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local law.
  • Must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
  • Must have at least 5 years of verifiable security experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
