Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Vice President, Finance, the Senior Director of Finance will take the lead role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the fiscal health of our operations within North America and Market Access consulting. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing financial planning, analysis and reporting while driving efficiencies and supporting business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management within the consulting industry.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the North American operations and the global Market Access consulting group aligning financial goals with business objectives. Develop, implement, and oversee the annual budgeting and long-range plan process, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support decision making Leverage enterprise data to develop key KPIs that directly track and report the financial performance of the organization down to the project level Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement Collaborate with regional and global leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive financial performance Implement and maintain effective financial systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Seeks out profitability improvement opportunities that are geared towards improved business results Produces monthly in-depth reporting and analysis of the business unit. Works closely with business to define action plans and track progress against completion. Strives for continuous process improvement, standardization and simplification in assigned areas Generates ad hoc analysis and reports as needed Performs related duties as assigned

    Education, Experience & Skillset Requirements:

    • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, pricing, marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, strategy, finance or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
    • Requires minimum seven (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience,
    • Thorough understanding of company philosophy, strategic direction, goals and objectives in order to make effective use of company resources for short and long range financial needs.
    • Able to work effectively with senior management to develop business strategy and tactical implementation plans.
    • Ability to influence and navigate change.
    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
    • Skilled at process development / improvement efforts toward simplification, standardization and adherence to governance frameworks.
    • Advanced expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work in a heavily cross-functional environment.
    • Excellent leadership skills; ability to lead team initiatives and facilitate team meetings.
    • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
    • Very strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail. Fluency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Project, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
