Senior QA Engineer Experience with Fixed Income and/or Trading Systems Category: Information Technology Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-385068 My client based in ATL seeks a Functional QA Engineer to inspect and assess software quality through functional testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting software defects and identifying discrepancies between specification and system behavior. Ultimately, as the last line of defense before releases are committed to Production, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about quality, we'd like from you. Responsibilities (5 years of experience with at least 4 of the below skills) Review and analyze system specifications Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases and analyze results Evaluate product code according to specifications Report bugs and errors to development teams Help troubleshoot issues Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Knowledge and Experience Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role Experience with Fixed Income and/or Trading Systems, a big plus Experience in project management and QA methodology Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus Ability to document and troubleshoot errors Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Jira and ALM) and SQL Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Strong organizational skills BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Estimated Min Rate: $98000.00 Estimated Max Rate: $140000.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
