Job Summary Join Our Library Team! We're hiring a Library Page I! This role is perfect for anyone who loves organization and enjoys being active! Candidates must be able to work a mix of daytime, evening, and Saturday hours year-round. You'll be an integral member of the team working behind-the-scenes to keep Library services flourishing. What You'll Do: Shelve and organize library materials Assist with checking in and sorting daily delivery of library materials Help locate and retrieve items Direct inquiries to the right staff members or departments Ensure shelves are neat and orderly Work Schedule: Average of 16 hours per week Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9AM-1PM and Tuesdays from 3-7PM or 5-9PM At least one Saturday per month 8 AM - 5 PM Details: Earn $10.51 per hour Be part of a friendly and supportive team Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age or older Supplemental Information Physical Requirements of Position: This position requires the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, the ability to push and pull wheeled book carts weighing up to 200 pounds, the ability to stand or sit for up to several hours at a time at a service desk, the ability to move freely about the Library assisting patrons in locating materials, and the ability to reach and bend to add or remove items from shelves.. Employee must be able to have far vision at 20 feet or further and have near vision at 20 inches or less. Must be able to sit or stand for up to several hours at a time, lift books and materials from 5-30 pounds on a continuous basis and carry them short distance, reach overhead, bend, and kneel. Must be able to perform repetitive hand, arm, and body movements.
