The Power Generation Propel team is a diverse, interdisciplinary group of subject matter experts with deep functional and industry expertise supporting the company's fleet of hydroelectric, gas combined cycle, solar, and BESS generation systems located throughout Northern California. Position Summary This intern role will engage in development of master data for mechanical, civil, and electrical power generation systems to enable advancements in work management, asset strategy management, and supply chain. Additionally, the role will be involved with piloting new business processes and technology systems used in asset inspections, work scheduling and capacity planning, and enabling the craft workforce to access job packages and asset information from their mobile devices in the field. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. The successful intern will have the opportunity to lead and/or support activities as described above working with a team of experienced asset strategy engineers and power generation operations and maintenance professionals. Additionally, the intern will gain knowledge of the larger Power Generation organization, including project engineering, dam safety engineering, and water management.
