TITLE: File Audit Specialist (Temporary)

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

STATUS: Temporary, Non-Exempt

SALARY: $18

POSITION SUMMARY

The File Audit Specialist is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and verifying documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves identifying discrepancies, documenting findings, and collaborating with team members to resolve issues.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:



  • Minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience required.
  • Experience in auditing, compliance, data verification, or record-keeping is a plus.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
  • Proficiency in using a computer scanner and digital file management.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with document scanning software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Statistics:



  1. Conduct thorough audits of files to verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation.
  2. Identify missing or incorrect information and work with relevant teams to rectify discrepancies.
  3. Ensure that all records meet company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
  4. Maintain a detailed log of audit findings and provide reports to management.
  5. Assist in developing or refining audit procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to Management.
  7. Assist with scanning and digitizing documents to ensure accurate electronic record-keeping and efficient file management.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive files and information.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
