The Service Center Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing service operations at designated Peli BioThermal Service Center including the management and execution of contractual agreements to fulfil customer requirements. This includes, but is not limited to; product refurbishment, repair, kitting, preconditioning, assembly and delivery. The Service Center Manager will also interface directly with both internal and external customers and is responsible for the quality and consistency of operations on site. This position ensures that all standard operating procedures are being adhered to, staff are qualified and trained, established goals and KPI's are achieved, and all safety policies/procedures/guidelines are strictly followed. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a strong organizational and continuous improvement culture
- Establish and develop the Service Center team ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained and have the required equipment available.
- Improving on-site procedures, metrics and processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization.
- Ensure standards in Safety, Quality, Service and Cost are met at all times.
- Lead on site safety awareness, ensuring the continued effectiveness of safety programs
- Develop and manage budget and necessary cost controls; identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining the high level of service expected at Peli BioThermal Service Centers.
- Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations
- Manage the purchase of required materials and manage inventory ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy to facilitate appropriate service level to customers requirements.
- Lead the management of freight and transportation carriers with partners and customers; oversee Domestic and International Shipments.
- Report progress towards established KPI's, objectives and targets on an ongoing basis.
- Develop plans to improve performance to KPI's where required.
- Support the development of the Peli BioThermal Global Services Network by playing a key role in onboarding new clients, facilitating new product and service launches and supporting new process initiatives.
- Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook, AWAIR and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
- Responsible for establishing the site culture and identifying opportunities for employee engagement and development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent specific experience.
- 5 plus years of experience at site management level or equivalent.
- Proven Strong leadership skills; able to develop and lead a team independently
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand the product, our business, and the competitive landscape.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
- Analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong experience working with a formal ERP system.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience in driving cultural changes and improvements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to executive non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.
