Job Summary	Elmhurst University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor in the School of Business and Economics in Finance. Visiting Assistant Professor is a non-tenure position, renewable annually.
Essential Functions	Main teaching responsibilities include introductory and upper-level undergraduate and graduate finance courses. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. The teaching load is six courses per year.
Other Duties and Responsibilities	Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses related to finance. Be flexible relative to the teaching schedule. Attend regular School of Business and University meetings. Leverage Blackboard learning management system and publishers' online learning materials. Participate in the School of Business's shared governance.
Minimum Qualifications	Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body. Master's degree is required in Finance, or MBA with specialization in Finance.
Preferred Qualifications	PhD in finance or economics or significant industry experience.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements	Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object. Occasional evening and weekend obligations.
Work Hours	Flexibility relative to teaching schedule. Availability for meetings with fellow faculty and administrators, in-person. Availability for meetings with students for office hours and advising, in-person
