Student Financial Services Job Description
The Financial Aid Processor supports the administration of student financial aid by performing accurate and timely processing of aid-related documentation. This role is responsible for handling a variety of financial aid operations such as verification of student files, loan processing, and the administration of athletic scholarships, federal work-study, and state aid programs. The Financial Aid Processor ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations while delivering high-quality service to students and families. Key Responsibilities may include:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Preferred skills/abilities of candidates: Experience in a financial aid office with some knowledge of Title IV regulations is preferred. Ability to interact professionally with diverse personalities is requested. The successful candidate should demonstrate exceptional customer service as well as interpersonal and communication skills (knowledge of PeopleSoft and the Microsoft Office Suite a strong plus.) Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.61-$22.24 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
