Geosyntec, a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmental professional services firm, has an exciting opportunity for limited-term Procurement Intern to assist our corporate procurement team. The work may be performed in our Boca Raton or Orlando, FL office. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training. In this position you will work up to 30 hours per week from June 2025 through August 2025 under the direction of the Strategic Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate will be available to intern for additional sessions with the potential for a full-time opportunity upon graduation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist in the coordination and management of daily supply chain activities.
  • Support the procurement team in supplier selection, evaluation, and management.
  • Participate in the analysis and improvement of supply chain processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating supplier records.
  • Participate in strategic sourcing projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Licensure

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED). (required)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program focused on Business, Management, Supply Chain or a similar degree area in at least the third year of studies. (required)
  • Coursework in supply chain operations. (preferred)


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. (required)
  • Ability to remain motivated even when performing repetitive tasks. (required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. (required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on skills leveraging Excel for complex tasks. (required)
  • Experience in Excel with creating and manipulating pivot tables and VLOOKUP. (preferred)
  • Ability to learn new software and procedures quickly. (required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (required)
