JOB TITLE: International Tax Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for various aspects of tax compliance and reporting with an emphasis in international tax. Assist with transfer pricing documentation in support of intercompany operations for Terumo BCT and its affiliated companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Assist with GILTI, FDII, Subpart F and FTC calculations.
  • Prepare US International Tax compliance related to Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8990, 8991, 8992.
  • Prepare and/or review various tax provision calculations for foreign affiliates pursuant to International Accounting Standards.
  • Support preparation of quarterly global income tax reporting consolidations for Japanese parent.
  • Support external transfer pricing advisers in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation for relevant legal entities.
  • Monitor foreign affiliate profit margins to ensure they are consistent with transfer pricing policies.
  • Support processes related to withholding tax documentation, compliance and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of agreements related to the inter-company transactions (royalties, licenses, services, product distribution, etc.).
  • Assist with preparation of BEPS Pillar Two Global Minimum tax compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation/review of Country by Country BEPS reporting to parent company in Japan.
  • Assist with Federal, State and Canadian corporate tax compliance as needed.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly tax payment estimates as needed.
  • Perform tax research as needed.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Master's degree in Accounting or Tax and professional licensure as a CPA preferred but not required.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant international tax experience, preferably in a public accounting or in-house tax department of a multinational company with significant foreign operations.

-Or-

An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.

Skills



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver exceptional work product
  • Experience with preparation of tax provisions in accordance with IAS 12.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US international tax laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and OECD transfer pricing principles.
  • Familiarity and working understanding of global tax laws and regulations including OECD BEPS initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a desire to work with people from around the world.


  • Strong proficiency in ONESOURCE tax software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI and/or Alteryx is a plus.



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, traverse, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Target Pay Range:$74,800.00to$93,500.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
