Senior Microsoft Teams Engineer, IT Operations

We are looking for a Senior Engineer who has extensive experience in managing and administering Microsoft Teams cloud platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of the Teams platform across our organization. You will also collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to integrate Teams with other cloud services and applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the Teams cloud environment, including Chat, Teams Channels, Meetings, Conferencing, Conferencing Equipment, Town Halls, Video, and Voice features
• Configure and troubleshoot Teams policies, settings, and permissions
• Responsible for Teams Cloud Environment
• Implement and enforce Teams governance and compliance standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and IT staff on Teams issues and best practices
• Design and implement Teams solutions for business needs and requirements
• Integrate Teams with other cloud services and applications, such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Azure, and Office 365
• Manage and optimize Teams network connectivity and bandwidth
• Evaluate and test new Teams features and updates
• Document and maintain Teams configuration and processes

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Teams cloud platform
• Strong knowledge of Teams architecture, features, and functionalities
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and Teams management tools
• Experience in managing Teams hybrid and multi-geo environments
• Experience in integrating Teams with VOIP and Conference Room Technology solutions
• Certification in Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate or equivalent is preferred

Desirable Skills

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to Advance experience with DFS management is a plus
