Position Title:Expert Identity & Access Management

Location:Houston, TX

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) expert with at least 10 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the systems and processes that ensure the correct users have the appropriate access to our organization's IT resources. This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles and familiarity with a wide range of identity management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement IAM Strategies:Design and implement identity and access management strategies within the organization to ensure secure and efficient access to IT resources.
  • Manage Access Control Systems:Define and maintain the enterprise's identity management, access control, and directory services.
  • Access Rights Management:Oversee the process of granting, modifying, and revoking access rights to systems and data, ensuring access is granted at the right levels and within necessary time frames.
  • Monitoring and Auditing:Monitor and audit user access rights to detect any unauthorized changes or inconsistencies. Perform regular audits to ensure security protocols are not being breached.
  • Integration with IT Systems:Work with IT teams to integrate new technologies into the identity and access management framework.
  • Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to user access.
  • Training and Development:Develop and provide training on company-wide identity and access management procedures.
  • Incident Management:Investigate, report, and resolve any identity and access-related incidents or breaches.
  • Stay Updated:Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in identity and access management, including potential security threats.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in identity and access management.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or similar are preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of IAM principles and best practices.
    • Proficiency with IAM tools and technologies.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with specific IAM tools such as Sailpoint, AWS IAM, or similar.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IAM policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.

Work Environment:

  • This position is based in Houston, TX, and may require occasional travel.
  • The role involves working closely with various departments including IT, security, and compliance teams.
