What You'll Do: Responsible for all safety policies and procedures and wearing proper PPE. Perform work in a manner that follows Client Quality standards and systems. Fabricate/Stack parts according to drawings, routings, and work instructions. Use manufacturing information to determine necessary parts and fixtures and obtain materials from stock areas. Perform quality checks consistent using measuring instruments and/or templates. Operate auxiliary equipment (e.g., conveyors, limit switches and safety equipment). Replenish inventory of fabrication department. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Client?s 5S procedures. Cross-train in various areas of the Fabrication department. Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor. Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working . Ability to work overtime as needed. In this Function You Will Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Fabricate and stack parts according to specifications. Utilize manufacturing information to gather necessary materials. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and templates. Operate auxiliary equipment safely and effectively. Maintain inventory levels and cleanliness in the fabrication department. Cross-train in different areas for enhanced versatility. Required Qualifications: Compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE. Ability to perform work according to Client Quality standards and systems. Proficiency in fabricating and stacking parts based on drawings and work instructions. Capability to use measuring instruments and templates for quality checks. Competency in operating auxiliary equipment. Capacity to replenish inventory and maintain cleanliness using 5S procedures. Physical ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for a working . Willingness to work overtime as needed. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing. Familiarity with Client?s quality standards and systems. Flexibility to cross-train in various areas of the fabrication department. Strong teamwork and communication skills. #ZR |
