Full-time position at 40 hours/week. Under guidance from the Principal Investigator, will perform activities related to the Care for America's Aging study. Activities include but are not limited to: assisting with study logistics; recruitment and enrollment; coordinating phone, email, and written communications; implementing and maintaining quality assurance procedures; supporting database management; performing data cleaning and organization steps; data analysis; generating reports; assisting with statistical analyses including relevant data programming; assisting with presentations, conference abstracts and manuscripts.
EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years of directly related work experience. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (if applicable):
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills and conceptual thinking. Must possess the ability to work independently and display initiative to introduce innovations to the research study. Must have sound interpersonal skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including with laypersons and older participants. Must be able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and set deadlines. Must be able to identify problems and develop solutions. Must possess a high degree of computer literacy, including use of data management and statistical software, capability in data cleaning and organization, and data programming procedures required therein, and ability to troubleshoot e-communications technologies (e.g., tablet computers).
